This 1974 Land Rover 88 Series III is a left-hand-drive example finished in beige over black upholstery, and it is powered by a 2.25-liter inline-four mated to a replacement four-speed manual transmission with overdrive as well as a dual-range transfer case. Features include a black bikini top, inward-facing rear jump seats, and a swing-out rear tailgate. During the refurbishment the aluminum body was disassembled and refinished in beige, and the grilled surround was painted black. Additional features include an Exmoor Trim black bikini top and hoop set that were installed in 2018, as well as steel bumpers, sliding windows, painted mirror housings, and a rear tailgate that has been modified to swing outwards. Steel 16″ wheels are finished in black and mounted with 235/85 Mudstar Radial M/T tires, both of which were installed during current ownership. The shock absorbers and leaf springs were replaced and the braking system was also overhauled. The interior features three individual front seats upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and black rubber floor mats lining the footwells. Inward-facing jump seats are mounted out back. The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 95-mph speedometer and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. 31k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The 2.25-liter inline-four was removed and rebuilt, which included repainting the block and head as well as replacement of the pistons, valves, fuel system components, belts, and gaskets. A rebuilt starter was also installed, along with a remanufactured alternator and a replacement radiator, exhaust system, four-speed manual transmission, and drive shafts.
