The M100 Engine is a 6.3 liter V8 with Bosch fuel injection, and it delivers 300 HP through Mercedes 4-speed automatic gearbox, Features include air suspension, ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels, power windows, central locking and power steering, air conditioning, power sunroof, and rear seat reading lamps. The performance is 0-62 mph in 6.3 seconds, 0-100 mph in 14.6 seconds, Standing 1-4 mile in 14.2 seconds. The top speed is in excess of 142 mph.This is a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3. This car has been restored including exterior, interior, transmission, suspension and engine related work.The car was repainted in period correct glasurit paint that was factory original to this car.The front and rear bumpers were removed and re-chromed, all remaining exterior chrome was cleaned and polished.The interior was reupholstered using German leather (front and rear seats, headrests and padding, dashboard) The carpet and door panels were replaced. All interior wood was re-veneered by Madera Concepts and a period correct Mercedes Becker radio was installed.New Updated R134 A/C Engine Kit was installed including a new compressor, new AC lines, new condenser, and a new receiver drier.Heat levers were removed with cables, all necessary parts were cleaned and lubed, then re-installed performing correctly.New black steering wheel assembly installed.New chrome trunk handle installed.Alloy wheels replaced with steel wheels and hub caps.New tires installed.New Power steering pump installed.Front sway bar link bushings replaced.Radiator hoses replaced (upper and lower).Cooling system drained and flushed.Transmission selector bushings replaced.Flex disc replaced.Differential axel boot, lower bushing and pinion holder bushing replaced.Alternator and voltage regulator replaced.Window regulator replaced.
