This 1970 Jaguar E-Type coupe is finished in British racing green over tan leather and is powered by a 4.2 Liter inline six paired with a manual 4 speed transmission. Equipment includes 15” wheels, front wheel disc brakes and rear drums. The inline six is rated at 240hp with 264 ft-lbs. This car sounds fantastic when running, the 4 speed manual transmission shifts great and has a firm clutch. The front : Wishbone, torsion bars and anti-roll bar. Rear : Independent with lower wishbone, trailer arms, coil springs and anti-roll bar, steering is rack and pinion. Total production was one 6,732 of these cars in 1970 this car shows great paint and door jams and hood and trunk appears to be tight and straight. This car is a driver and fires up each time there are a few things to note such as the ignition does stick a little when starting and there is a little white smoke coming out of the right exhaust pipe, headlights are currently not hooked up and the car is not driven at night. Previous owners have taken great care of this car and kept it in the garage with hand written log books and manual and each owner has enjoyed this car and driven it. This is not a concours or trailer queen and is ready for the next owner to enjoy.
