Virtually everything is new, rebuilt or upgraded on this truck; rebuilt 304 V8 with fuel injection is mated to a late Scout II four-speed manual transmission. Scout II axles with spring-over conversion give clearance for the Mickey Thompson 33s while retaining a compliant ride. Hydro-boost brakes (disc front) and power steering make this truck easy to drive. Paint and body are excellent and the color choice of Mayan Mist is stunning (it’s a subtle greenish-grey metallic). Custom bumpers, custom rock sliders / step bars and new Warn winch complete the look. The interior is all business but finished to a nice standard with new upholstery, correct floor mats, custom gauges and modern stereo. A full family cage is installed with three-point seat belts front and rear.
