Every bit of trim, chrome, and lenses has been replaced with new parts. The Rally Sport package includes hidden headlights, relocated reverse lights, and sleek trim along the top of the doors. The headlight doors open and close smoothly, as the system was completely rebuilt. The convertible top is black and in good shape, though not brand new. Restored 14-inch Rally wheels with new trim give the car a complete look, paired with BFG tires. If it’s black, it has to be perfect—and this one certainly meets that standard.
The interior is nothing short of fantastic. Every detail is carefully restored, and everything looks brand new. The deluxe interior features houndstooth upholstery, with new seat cushions ensuring a tight, drum-like fit. The seat backs have also been replaced. The deluxe molded door panels are new, complementing the overall look.
The dash pad, chrome accents, woodgrain trim, and heater controls are all pristine, with new knobs, bezels, and vents. This car comes equipped with the factory gauge package, including the iconic Tic-Toc Tachometer, which works perfectly, and the clock, which keeps accurate time. The gauge cluster is housed in a new console, with the ashtray also replaced.
Additionally, the original GM seat belts are still intact. The mirror, glove box liner, steering wheel, window cranks, handles, kick panels, and vent levers have all been replaced. To top it off, the car features a digital retro stereo for a blend of modern and classic convenience.
The engine bay houses the matching 327-275 hp motor, which has been meticulously restored. The entire compartment looks brand new, with new wiring harnesses, wiper motor, vacuum hoses, and alternator. The engine is painted in bright Chevy orange and boasts new chrome valve covers and the correct air cleaner.
A correct 4-barrel carburetor, fuel line, and fuel pump complete the setup, while the stock exhaust manifolds feature the appropriate heat shields. The car retains GM hoses and clamps, along with spring clamp battery cables and a Delco topper. New components such as the fan shroud, washer bottle, hinges, and cadmium-plated brake booster ensure the engine bay is both functional and visually stunning. Additionally, the new master cylinder and stainless lines enhance the car’s performance.
