The 1959 Stanguellini Formula Junior Monoposto is a rare and historically important front-engined race car from the early Formula Junior era (1958–1963). Built by legendary Italian constructor Stanguellini, it features the lightweight tubular chassis and classic monoposto design that defined late-1950s European motorsport.
Front-engined Formula Juniors briefly dominated competition before being replaced by the new mid-rear engined, disc-braked cars led by Lotus Cars. As technology advanced and costs increased, many early Juniors were retired, making surviving examples highly collectible today.
