This eye-catching 1956 Ford F-100 custom pickup is built to turn heads at any car show. Finished in striking two-tone paint, the all-steel body features extensive custom work including a tilt front end, shaved door handles, removed drip rails, one-piece windows, and custom Cadillac taillights. Chrome wheels, a custom tonneau cover, and an aggressive stance complete the look.
Under the hood is a built 460 big-block V8 with custom intake, mirrored firewall, and chrome and billet accents. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it cool, while a C6 automatic transmission with 2,000 stall converter and ratchet shifter sends power to a posi rear end with 4-link suspension and coilover shocks. Handling is improved with a Ford Mustang II-style front suspension with power rack-and-pinion steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes provide strong stopping power.
Inside, the truck features a custom leather and suede interior with digital gauges, power windows, and a custom center console with AM/FM/CD stereo and integrated control panel. The bed is lined for durability, and the Optima battery and spare tire are neatly mounted with a custom cover. With less than 500 miles since completion, this F100 is ready to cruise or dominate the show field.
