This 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria Glasstop is the nicest ’55 Ford we’ve seen in quite a long time. This particular ’55 Crown Victoria was restored by previous ownership and was stored inside for the last 9 years. The 272 Cubic Inch Ford V8 is outfitter with the “Power Pack,” a single 4 barrel carburetor that pushed out 182 horsepower in its day and is correct for this M-Code ’55 Ford. A Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission and factory Power Steering ensures that anybody can drive this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria with ease. The body plate on this ’55 Ford shows a body number of “64B” indicates that it is truly a Glasstop Crown Victoria giving passengers a “skylighted view” from inside the car. This 1955 Ford is also equipped with the two-piece zippered curtain for the transparent top providing a bit more shade and privacy and it is in excellent, like-new condition. This 1955 Crown Victoria is only 1 of 1,999 Crown Victoria produced with a transparent glass top in 1955. The fresh two-tone Buckskin Brown and Snowshoe White exterior paint on this ’55 Ford is in excellent shape and is correct for the car as well with a “KE” code on the body tag. The exterior chrome and brightwork are also in spectacular, show-worthy condition. This ’55 Crown Victoria sits on 4 whitewall tires with Full Factory Wheelcovers as well. The rear-mounted Continental Kit gives this classic Ford a nice 50s look and provides a spare tire should you ever need one. The trunk and engine compartments have both been meticulously detailed and show exceptionally well. The Medium Copper vinyl and cloth bench seat interior is in wonderful, show-caliber condition. The steering wheel and dash are in excellent shape and appear in their stock configuration. This ’55 Ford is also outfitted with a Ford Magic-Aire System, a push-button AM Radio, and an electric clock.
