This 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan Delivery Street Rod is absolutely stunning having underwent an extensive, no expenses spared, professional frame-off restoration. The ’40 Fords are arguably the most beautiful and elegant cars ever produced by the Dearborn-based automaker. Utilizing Art Deco influences, Ford completely re-designed the front ends on its cars in 1940. Also new in 1940 were the Deluxe Sedan Delivery models which featured new bodies produced entirely in-house by Ford. This particular Sedan Delivery has been converted into a stunning Street Rod after it underwent a professional frame-off restoration. There is so much chrome under the hood, you’ll need sunglasses on a sunny day! Powering this ’40 Ford is a dressed up 350 Cubic Inch V8 engine with dual 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetors under dual Holley PowerCharger air cleaners. Exhaust from the 350 V8 is sent through upgraded headers and out of a dual exhaust setup, giving this street rod an awesome sound. Power is sent through a 9″ Ford Rear End that is sure to keep the rubber to the pavement. Steering this street machine is made easy with a rack and pinion steering box along with power steering. The brakes on all 4 wheels have also been upgraded to a power discs, providing plenty of stopping power to the upgraded power plant under the hood. The underside on this beauty is so clean you can eat off it and the frame and suspension was powdercoated for a beautiful, long-lasting look. The all-steel body on this ’40 Ford Street Rod is gorgeous benefitting from a repaint in Black basecoat/clearcoat along with purple ghost flames for an even more special look. This classic Ford Sedan Delivery sits on 4 Boyd Coddington rims with Radial Tires for a supreb look and even better ride. The interior on this Pre-War Street Rod is totally custom and totally breathtaking! The doors are opened via the keyless remote entry or the door poppers neatly tucked under the running boards.
