We have an iconic black 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that is a true American muscle car with its big block 400 Pontiac YS coded engine in it and is painted in black with the gold Bird on the hood and other gold accents, a black bucket seat interior, as well as having the gold Pontiac Honeycomb wheels. Pop the hood and you will see a YS coded big block Pontiac engine in all its glory sitting underneath the Pontiac Trams AM Shaker hood scoop. It looks as it did when it was new as the engine block, intake, valve covers , and heads painted in factory Pontiac blue, dual exhaust system, four-barrel carburetor and that factory Shaker hood scoop, and is backed by the strong Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Trans Am’s were known for their handling, and this one goes great with the Variable Ratio power steering, and the modern grip of fat tires on the Honeycomb wheels in gold paint with great sounds coming out the rear tips.
Inside is the immaculate stellar black interior consisting of black vinyl high-backed front buckets seats with the matching rears both well bolstered, black center console, black/polished three-spoke Pontiac TA formula sport steering wheel, air conditioning, the cool machined aluminum dash with all the factory Rally gauges, power windows, AM/FM stereo system, black carpeting and floor mats. The black paint job is great and is accented by the Trans Am Bird, shaker on the hood, the full-width rear spoiler, TA fender flare package front and rear, Trans Am decal package, iconic grill, side TA air extractors, and this TA package is one that it will remain appealing for many more years to come. With these Trans Am’s being the star of a feature film makes it an instant classic everyone knows and loves, you can be sure that the demand for it is just as high today as it was back in 1976.
