This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL is one of 1,400 Gullwing coupes built during a three-year production run and was shipped from the factory on February 22, 1957. A body-off restoration was subsequently carried. Work included included a color change to the current blue grey and a rebuild of the numbers-matching 3.0L inline-six. The numbers-matching four-speed transmission also remains fitted along with the original 3.64:1 rear differential.
